Cardinal and Canary’s story shows that a happy e Cardinal and Canary’s story shows that a happy ending isn’t just a moment—it continues in the love that remains. 💌⁠ ⁠ At thirteen years old, these bonded ginger brothers have truly found their place. After being adopted together this spring, they settled into a home where love and comfort surround them every day. Cardi enjoyed his golden months with snuggles from his mom, lap time with his canine siblings, and the kind of peace that we wish for every senior cat. When it was his time to cross the rainbow bridge, he left this world purring—held close and deeply loved. 🌈❤️⁠ ⁠ Today, Canary carries that love forward. He’s thriving with his mom and dog siblings, soaking up attention from extended family and even charming the staff at his vet clinic. He’s recently discovered the joy of being a lap cat (even if he doesn’t quite fit!). 😆⁠ ⁠ Canary’s story reminds us that senior pets aren’t just waiting for a home—they’re ready to bring joy, comfort, and companionship right now. For a sick kitty in a shelter, comfort makes all the difference—and that’s where towels come in. 💗⁠ ⁠ Why towels? They’re soft and warm, and they hold up well to bleach and high-heat drying. That means they stay both clean and comforting—the perfect combo for cats who need a safe place to rest and recover.⁠ ⁠ Just three days ago, Vivace and her choir of kittens—Allegra, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, and Presto—came to us from @‌wcasanimals. 🎶 Thanks to donated towels, they were able to rest comfortably in our isolation ward while waiting for a foster volunteer to bring them home. Newbi’s name means “New Beginnings”—and he Newbi’s name means “New Beginnings”—and he’s ready for his next chapter! 📖⁠ ⁠ After a fall from a balcony left him with two fractured legs and broken teeth, his family, who loved him dearly, made the heartbreaking choice to surrender him to Animal Control so he could get the emergency care he needed—care that’s often out of reach for many families. 💔⁠ ⁠ That’s where our team met him. At Tree House, Newbi bravely underwent a back leg amputation and dental surgery to remove his injured teeth. 🦴🦷 After recovering comfortably in a foster home, he’s ready for his new beginning and is now available for adoption. 🏡💕⁠ ⁠ Accessible, affordable emergency veterinary care is critical to keeping families and their beloved pets together. While we are grateful to know and care for Newbi, we also know that a better, more comprehensive system would have prevented this unfortunate meeting. With a little help from his friends, this rockin’ kitty went from street life to stardom—Ringo’s Happy Ending Tail is one worth singing about! 🎤🎶⁠ ⁠ This handsome Siamese mix started as a Tree House community cat, but fate had other plans in store for his future. 🔮 Ringo wandered into Adrianne’s backyard one day, and though he already charmed the neighbors, he always came back to her warm welcome. 🤗 Adrianne built him a cozy cottage, complete with a heater, camera, and daily meals. With each visit, every soft meow and pawstep on the porch, their bond grew stronger. 💗⁠ ⁠ A few months later, Adrianne knew it was time to welcome Ringo inside and say goodbye to his days outdoors. 👋 Now, he lives a luxe life in a loving home with his three fabulous feline siblings. He still has that curious-cat spark, but most days you’ll find him soaking up the cozy comfort of home at last. ⚡🌞⁠ ⁠ You could say Ringo’s been here, there, and everywhere, but now, he’s found the place he truly belongs. 😻 The colorful world of @ponnopozz is a whole lot more vibrant and brighter with Ringo around! 🌈✨

She’s opened her Chicago apartment to some true Tree House favorites—like Fink and our beloved, late Nelson.⁠ ⁠ For Jan, fostering means giving cats the comfort of a home environment, while also enjoying the sweet company of a fur baby. 💛⁠ ⁠ ✨ Easiest part? Meet Smallz—he may have been tiny when he arrive Meet Smallz—he may have been tiny when he arrived, but he’s taken up a BIG space in our hearts. 💗⁠ ⁠ At the end of July, Smallz was found just outside our shelter in urgent need of care. He had a severely broken back leg and an infected open wound that had already begun to attract insects—an incredibly painful situation for any cat, let alone a kitten. 😓⁠ ⁠ We took him in immediately for medical treatment. His journey included a back leg amputation and plenty of TLC in his foster home as he recovered and learned to thrive on three paws. 3️⃣⁠ ⁠ Thanks to lifesaving medical care and the love of a foster home, Smallz is now fully healed. One eye, a big heart, and a home full of love—Yu One eye, a big heart, and a home full of love—Yuki’s Happy Ending Tail is a dream come true! 👁️💗 In Japanese, Yuki’s name translates to “snow” or “happiness,” and over the past few months, he’s fully grown into that second meaning. 😸 Right after Yuki left Tree House, he was a little reserved and unsure of his new surroundings. 🤔 But slowly over time, he got comfortable and began to bond with his feline housemates. Yuki now loves to spend his time sitting on a sunny windowsill, relaxing on a soft surface, and sharing his space with his new companions—including one chatty parrot! 🦜 Despite facing some bumps on his road to good health, he’s thriving in a home where he’s safe, cherished, and deeply loved. ❤️‍🩹🤗 To us, Yuki's journey is another success story of finding more joy, friendship, and comfort after his time with us at Tree House!
